About us
Renowned as an outstanding non-vocational ballet school, Redbridge Ballet School nurtures children and young people in a happy, friendly, and disciplined environment where they are inspired to learn, grow, and achieve.
Pupils are supported and encouraged at every stage of their journey. Introduced to ballet through creative, imagery-led classes in our Pre-School sessions, children are taught by caring and approachable teachers who ensure that, even at this early age, a careful foundation of technique is established while enjoyment remains paramount.
As pupils progress, they thrive on developing focus, drive, and self-discipline. With each new stage, we see our love of ballet reflected back through their growing artistic expression and technical achievement. While we are always keen to nurture emerging talent and provide a clear pathway for those who aspire to a career in dance, we take great pride in the many students who choose to remain with us until they leave for university — dancing for enjoyment, achieving personal goals, and forming friendships that last well beyond their school years.
The vast majority of our pupils leave Redbridge Ballet School at eighteen having achieved Royal Academy of Dance Grade Eight Ballet and Vocational examinations, supporting a lifelong love of dance. It is often our privilege to welcome former pupils back into our adult programme, where our shared passion continues to play a meaningful part in their everyday lives.
