There are many aspects of teaching that I love but my main ethos is instilling my students with inspiration and confidence to carry throughout their life as they develop into young adults. The atmosphere I create for my students is welcoming and full of positivity. My aim as a teacher is to have an atmosphere where creativity is encouraged, allowing students to flourish with confidence as ballet dancers and individuals.
I have always had a passion for Dance which began when I started attending ballet classes & exams, following the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus. My passion continued through school studying GCSE and A-Level Dance. This provided my connection with English National Ballet to then gaining a place within their youth company, performing in venues such as The London Coliseum, Southbank Centre and Olympia.
After finishing school I went onto study a Bachelor of Arts in Dance at Roehampton University and passed with a 2:1. Following graduating I began working with DanceWest and ENB on their outreach programmes to local schools in West and East London.
After exploring the different avenues within the Dance world I was drawn to teaching. I began my teaching journey over 5 years ago at my local dance school who encouraged me to obtain my teaching qualification from the Royal Academy of Dance. In 2022 I graduated with my Certificate In Ballet Teaching Studies from the RAD and have been teaching ever since!
