Fern Reilly

Fern began her dance journey at just five years old, training at Anthony Clifford’s Dance Studio until the age of 16. During this time, she built strong foundations in Tap, Ballet, Modern, Latin and Ballroom, developing both technical strength and a genuine love for performance.

She continued her training at South Essex College, where she achieved her Level 3 Diploma in Musical Theatre. Throughout her years of training, Fern performed in numerous shows and competitions, but it was during this time that she discovered her true passion lay in choreographing and teaching.

Committed to furthering her professional development, Fern returned to Anthony Clifford’s Dance Studio to complete her ISTD DDE qualifications in both Tap and Modern. She has successfully completed all of her ISTD Tap and Modern examinations up to Advanced 2, achieving Distinction in both genres. She later went on to complete her Level 5 Diploma in Teaching and Education, further strengthening her knowledge and teaching practice.

Fern has now been teaching for nearly 10 years across Essex and London, creating choreography for major competitions and audition pieces with high levels of success. Since 2018, she has been a dedicated teacher at Redbridge Classical Dance Studio, where she prepares students for their ISTD Modern and Tap examinations. She is incredibly proud to be part of a school that combines professionalism with a genuine sense of community — something she believes is essential in nurturing confident, motivated dancers.

Fern is especially passionate about working with the younger generation, supporting them through their early training and guiding them as they grow — whether they move on into the professional industry or choose new paths beyond the studio. She believes in developing well-rounded performers by combining strong technique with expressive performance skills, while ensuring every student experiences the joy, discipline and confidence that dance can bring.
