Vocational Ballet

Redbridge Ballet School is one of the few non vocational schools in the area to train and regularly enter students for vocational ballet examinations, from Intermediate Foundation through to Advanced Two Ballet. With a strong emphasis on classical technique, musicality and developing mature artistry, these examinations are designed for students who wish to study ballet in greater depth. 

Within these classes, students are carefully introduced to pointe work, progressing from structured exercises to full enchainments on pointe as strength and confidence develop. While the vocational pathway is intended to prepare dancers for a potential professional career, many students choose to work towards these vocational exams for the sheer love of ballet, personal fulfilment and the challenge of extending themselves beyond what they once thought possible. We are proud to offer in-depth ballet training at this level.
